Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to this website, to our quotations and to work we carry out.

About us

This website is operated by Window & Glass Replacement Centre Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 12220717, with its address at 12 Andover Cl, Adderley Green, Stoke-on-Trent ST3 5RA.

Using this website

The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. While we take care to keep it accurate, it does not constitute a quotation, a technical specification or advice for a specific property. Nothing on this site should be relied upon in place of a site survey.

Quotations

Quotations are issued in writing following a survey of the property and are based on the work and specification described in them. A quotation is an offer to carry out that work and does not become a contract until it is accepted. Where additional work becomes necessary, for example concealed damage discovered once units are removed, we will discuss it with you and agree any change in price before proceeding.

Work and access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be carried out, and to tell us about anything that may affect the installation, such as concealed services or known structural issues. Installation dates are arranged in advance and we will keep you informed if a delivery or unforeseen condition affects them.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your written quotation. Where a deposit is required it will be stated there, and the balance falls due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Guarantees

Our installations are Assure certified and covered by a 10-year insurance backed guarantee, which is registered on completion of the installation. The cover provided is subject to the terms of the guarantee documentation issued to you. Guarantees do not cover accidental damage, misuse, alterations carried out by others, or failure caused by defects in the wider building fabric.

Cancellation

Where a contract is agreed in your home, you have the cancellation rights given to you by consumer law. Details of how to cancel are provided with your acceptance paperwork. Where you have asked us to begin work within the cancellation period, we may charge for work carried out up to the point of cancellation.

Complaints

If something is not right, please contact us first so we can put it right. Call 01782 479526 or email glassreplacementcentre@hotmail.com.

Governing law

These terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. See also our privacy policy.
